Christmas allowed for many sweet moments with family. The time with the kids on Christmas Eve was especially fun. It was our best Christmas yet as a family. And it truly felt that way for me. . . .like a family.
We also traveled to Bluffton. Mom taught Meg and me to crochet. Clearly, I was struggling at first. Meg was a natural and had a scarf well on the way to being complete in the time it took me to crochet a 2" by 2" square.

Photo of the Week - December 8, 2013
The Zion Coffee Company launch was the place to be on Saturday night. A company founded with a purpose and heart. How I am inspired by Banu and Mike Hatfield!

I was a crazed shopper on Black Friday. Ironic, considering how little I enjoy shopping in good circumstances, let alone busy stores filled with shopping experts looking for a deal. This weekend Jeff took me to the nursery to pick out a Christmas wreath. Best shopping moment of the weekend, no doubt. How I love the product in the Hoerr Nursery Garden Center. . . .their landscape guy is quite cute too!
Photo of the Week - Thanksgiving
Favorite part of my Thanksgiving Holiday: Seeing my sweet Mother-in-law play bingo with the little ones. This is just the tip of the iceberg of my gratitude.
