"Going to the chapel, and we're gonna get married." This was the theme song running through my head this weekend....no, not me and not my wedding! I celebrated with my friend Jennifer, at her bridal shower on Saturday. It was an incredibly fun and joyous afternoon...see the smiles on our faces. And checkout the newest addition to the household...a chocolate fountain. Yum! Look for this fun attraction to make appearances at future parties!

Friends and Family,

I'm just returning from a weekend in Bluffton, IN. I had the chance to celebrate with my friend Beth as she was inducted into our High School's Athletic Hall of Fame. (http://www.news-banner.com/index/news-app?story=9545&highlight=beth+dewitt) My crew of High School buddies were able to make it to the event to celebrate with our Bethie too. My friendship with these women is certainly a treasure in my life. Our lives are strikingly different, yet a special bond of friendship keeps us all together...not to mention the joy of laughter. Wouldn't we all like to know what we were laughing about in this week's photo. Thanks gals for all of the love and support. Steph, you were with us in spirit.

Formula for fun: Four friends + one outlet mall + countless deals

This weekend I visited my high school friends living in Indianapolis. Amy, Jill, Terra, and I headed a bit south to hit an outlet shopping mall for some fun. While we were quite proud of our bargain hunting, it was the time with friends that made for the great adventure. This week's photo shows us refueling on enchiladas and salsa.

Friends and Family!

Wow, I can't imagine a more lovely weekend! I spent nearly every moment in the company of good friends. I had the joy of feeding a friend's infant son, celebrating at another friend's baby shower, going out for breakfast with friends from church, celebrating my roommate's birthday, and of course...signing the lyrics to Tom Petty songs with friends during the half time show of the Super Bowl.

February blew into Peoria, IL with a snow storm. The snow and the 30 degree temperatures made for a beautiful afternoon walk along Grand View Drive. Check out the photo for the most scenic picture of the weekend.
