Ah! Technology is failing me a bit today. We will need to rely on my simple words rather than the message of a Jpeg. Jeff and I are on a bus to Mexico. Yep, a bus! 30 hours. We are heading to Magdelena just south of Tucson, AZ. We are now in Arizona and enjoying the desert landscapes. Unfortunately, I can't post pictures from my phone to share the beauty. We will be back in Illinois in one week with plenty of pictures then.
Before we left we had a small cake and ice cream gathering for Ethan's 19th birthday. 35 of his friends came over to celebrate Ethan. What a fun night. Our living room has never been so hip!

Lot's of updates! I was out of town last week for work (hence me missing a post last Sunday).
As you can see the new kitchen floor is installed.
You'll also notice that Jeff and I have taken to wearing matching clothes. Yes, we are a bit goofy, but that isn't why we wore the same t-shirt on Saturday. We hosted a party for Compassion International at our house, and we thought we should dress the part.
I have taken on the challenge of acquiring sponsorship for 58 mosquito nets. Nets are $10.00 each and will be provided to children in need of the protection. Interested in sponsoring a mosquito net, just let me know! Interested in sleeping under a mosquito net, just stop on by...we have one hanging up at our house!
