I must confess I was not purposeful in taking pictures of our fun this week. I did snap a picture one night before dinner. I was proud of myself for 'whipping up' food for the family after getting home late from work. I'm no 'Becky Home Ecky', but my domestic skills have definately improved since being married!

This Saturday, I was a proud wife! Four churches in Peoria teamed together to complete various service projects around town. There were multiple landscaping projects at Peoria District 150 schools. Jeff did all of the designs and helped with the planning. And, of course, he did it in his humble style. I really had no idea how much work had gone into the planning. When I arrived at one of the sites, I had the coordinators hugging me and treating me like a celebrity just because I was Jeff's wife. Neat to see his impact on the community!
In the evening, I went to a murder mystery dinner with friends. I was Dolly Dee Seiner - Maker of Barbara Dolls! I didn't die, and I didn't committ a murder, but I did have fun dressing up and 'playing fancy.'

I spent two days in a conference room in Nashville this week. I didn't get to take in a show at the Ryman or visit the Opry, but I did tour the campus of Vanderbilt on my morning run. I had a chance to snap a picture with Cornelius on a rainy morning.

Jordan and I ventured off on our bikes to watch the fireworks at Glen Oak Park on July 3 while Jeff and the other boys headed to the riverfront for a concert.
Biking through the bumper to bumper traffic after the race was probably not the safest of things I have done as a step-mom. But it was a ton of fun! I did wear my safety vest that glows in the dark. We have a picture to prove it. Jada
