Oh, my! I stuggle. . .do I post the superfical announcement of my new haircut or do I miss the joy of updating my weekly blog with my pictures when all I have is shot of my 'day to day?' Here you go . . . a picture snapped while I was deep in thought at work, showcasing my desk area & a new do. And let's not kid ourselves,for many of us ladies, a new haircut is a significant event.

Oh the places I've been this week! Awhile ago Jeff brought home a ham. After letting it set in the freezer, I gained the confidence to bake it. For whatever reason, cooking a ham seemed beyond the skills of this vegetarian. I cooked it fine but had a hard time cutting it. I turned the job over to Jeff. We agreed that he would be our 'ham cutter' moving forward.

It's off to Bradley dorms for Ethan this year. Cramped space, cinder block room, living with a stranger. Jeff and I are praying for him during this rite of passage!

What does it take for me to miss my weekly update? Family vacation to Canada! Great week visiting Indiana, Ohio and Toronto. Here is a picture of us all in the gardens of Casa Loma in Toronoto.

This week I had an amazing experience at the Global Leadership Summit simulcast in Peoria. I volunteered with Jeff at the Compassion International table. 9 kids were sponsored over the two day event. Yay!
