Yep, I missed a week. Don't worry, I have two stories to tell!
Before Jordan went back to school to start a new semester we had Grandma & Grandpa Hoerr come over for dinner. What a great night of fun and entertainment! Too bad I haven't figured out how to post the video of Dot playing the piano yet. The picture will sufice for now. The piano is 72 years old...almost 73. Dot and Aunt Marilyn got it for their birthdays as young girls. I know better than to tell you what birthday...Never tell a lady's age!
This week our church had the sweet honor of hosting our friends Grace, Aurino and their boys Joel & Miguel in Peoria. Grace & Aurino pastor a church we partner with in Brazil. We had a fun filled weekend complete with parties, laughing, praying, reminiscing. It was a sweet time together. This photo captures our Brazilian friends putting on winter coats for the first time. Grace had trouble putting on mittens. We laughed and agreed that it was as awkward as my first night sleeping in a hammock.

Photo of the Week - January 8, 2012
I'm slow to post, but I wanted to get all of my weekend pictures in order. It was unseasonably warm and bright on Saturday. Jeff and Jordan went on a bike ride and enjoyed the weather. I stayed home and did some things around the house. When they returned, Jordan shared his cooking skills with us as an Omelet chef. We had 'breakfast for dinner' complete with all of the traditional dishes. I fell short on my portion. Anyone venture to guess the mystery dish in the photo? Note: the 'thumbs up' is in jest!
On Sunday, Jeff took the boys to visit Lauren in St. Louis. I included my favorite picture.
